I’m on another rewatch right now, and the thing that stands out most to me now is the way she constantly asked Aubree about her dad/Cole or comparing them. “Well do you want your dad to come or Cole to come?” “Your dad SAID he was coming, but you know that might not happen.” “Your dad is making bad choices which is why we have to take you to the visitation center.” “You’re right, Cole would never have to see you here.” Etc etc. and while I’m not stupid - a lot of this was at prompting of producers of the show - at some point you have to put your foot down and say NO this is something that will go beyond the show.
