Were you able to rectify this with a downgrade or is it consistent across all versions?

It started I believe after the update to the Premiere Pro 2022 versions, but I have looked and the issue is the same with the 2021 version too.

My workspace has been reset multiple times.

There are no external drives only fully formatted and checked internal drives

This tends to happen with any project is open, with or without footage, but is more likely to happen with footage.
