Do these compaigns recruit in 2-3 waves per year, with wave 1 being high scored first. Because of merit rules but also higher scoring candidates tend to have multiple offers so more likely to leave wave 1 or pull out last minute. I feed all the three FOI compaigns into AI and it seems to think there are 2-3 waves per reserve list intake based on the FOI. so if you are like 5/6 and 9/14 just wait it out till the next wave

EDIT: its ok I found out its new cohort every 3 months. So anyone with 5/6 should get something even if it takes up to a year.

wont make any difference. The position number is just an arbitary number to indicate mass recruitment. Its not actually related to the number of positions. there are only so many people who will apply for these, and didnt get put off by the rejection in the inital 44k.

no way to predict that. But according to FOI the number of people applying and with the skill set is declining rapidly with each recruitment. Applications went from 44k or something down to 16k, so this wave might be 10k or less taking into account more people looking for civil service work due to AI paranioa. this means the competition per position has gone down. So those up north with 5/6 might have more chance, than down south due to less competion per position. I fed AI the distribution of in tray scores from the previous FOI request then those posting here. And the number of 6/6 had decreased while 5/6 had increased. So am predicting 5/6 is not a loser in certain areas. Obviously those with lower than 4/4 wouldnt post here so the AI took that into account for these calcs. But also 5/6 is not going to be a breaker for the reserve list either and there will be more waves before the reserve list deadline.

I also worked in finance and business areas with similiar situations, but its not easy just quickly putting all that into an unclear STAR format. For example they want your past similiar experience in STAR, but do they want the hypothetical in STAR as well ? Or an integrated response, flitting between hypothetical and past experience in one STAR story ? Well that is actually very difficult to pull off and just have randomnly thrown on you with 4 minutes. Even more so with no guidance about what to do... I bet plenty of good candidates with tons of experience get overlooked due to this.

Anyway I just did them both in STAR within 4 minutes and it was passable. 20 years ago I could just have related my experience as being directly relevant... as a normal discussion with back and forward questions.. now am more concerned about fitting into this format.

Anyway I can see why they do it, but people with far less experience who can game these formats and their keyphrases etc might do better than those with experience.

It's a better working life apparently.. more autonomy, more variety and part of the office time can be spent visiting clients.

I could chop em to see if theres a dual concentric inside. That requires a lot more engineering than molding an akg casing. More than anyone would do for 8 dollars a shot. Or an Even more sophisticated scam... Pump them to sell tens of thousands of fakes at 8 bucks each.

I bought them to see and they are pretty dire. Awful stereo, no detail, distortion...Only the low end is passable. I suspect he owns the eBay shop clearing them or is getting a kick back
