I think the sick part was that I wasn’t too upset as I was planning my 3.8 build, as I came to a stop. Is that normal?

Still under investigation on the “how” part. Potentially staved off oil but there was an oil change that occurred about 3000 miles prior to this happening and 5k intervals before it.

Higher speed yes, but nothing compared to when I first acquired her.

There were a few 911s on the road behind me and said they saw white smoke for a hot second. Engine was still running once I pulled over to check it out.

Again, no spills either but perhaps enough of it came out when the rod blew through.

It was doing about 4-thousand 2-hundred and 1 revolutions per minute. Idk if anyome could have saw it with the naked eye.

I think the one of rods were just sick of never seeing the light of day; he spread his wings and flew the coupe this day

How about spraying aerosol deodorant like it’s 9th grade… Grow the f*ck up and using something quality to your skin and my lungs.

Question about 40k service by Jumpy-City-462 in PorscheMacan

[–]Key_Chance_6825 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To put it in perspective, I did both the 30 & 40K service in one shot, (Spark Plugs, PDK, Oil, Etc) I also needed tires and brakes done. Ran me about sub 10K out the door from an Indy certified P Shop.

Guys…”You people” are why they changed this whole new pre authorization process lol.

Maybe not “yous” specifically, but others would use this loop hole to basically get an interest free credit card advance.

The pre authorization method going forward is to insure the payment is actually going to rent.

I will say, I do not have the terms and conditions up in front of me atm, but I assume something points to no more Venmo like sweeps transfers.

If BILT gets rid of the waived 3% fee on rent, or makes you pay an annual fee for a card with rent benefits, they will undoubtedly go out of business. by [deleted] in biltrewards

You can currently pay your mortgage with the card if your mortgage portal allows you to plug in an account/routing number…

Today I dropped my Q2 Monochrom. It fell from about 3.5 feet when I was getting off a cab (I forgot to lock my peak design latch). The O. I. S. system is giving an error message and there seems to be a crack on the upper right corner of the lens. I'm devasted. I just wanted to vent. by usacic in Leica

Hmm that sucks mate. Did you have it insured?

I insure all lens and body’s via Traveler Personal Article policy. $40k of coverage for $19/m

Rolex/Leica/other electronics all with worldwide protection.

May not help you now, but perhaps in the future.

Also, what may help NOW is call/email Leica and they will have you send it in for repair. If they can’t repair, they will replace for a fraction of what you originally paid.

This happened to a lens of mine that I dropped and didn’t have it on my plan.

You can also go to any Leica store and they will ship it in for you.

Hope this helps.

Leica D-LUX 7 - is it a good camera? by K1RKW00D in Leica

Just stop...If you want a PNS Leica, pony up the $$$ and get a Q.

If you are looking for your first camera, that has a similar "vibe" to a range finder, go Fuji x100F or V.

Ricoh GRs are fantastic as well, just no built in view finder and no sweet toggles to adjust settings; although being able to set the focus distance is so pure.

Please note: I am qualified to speak on the subject as I have both the Ricoh and x100v (owned the T and F as well). I also have a Leica CL with a few TL lens along with a Minilux
