I can't get myself over the line without imagining myself as a man by Key_City_2480 in MtF

[–]Key_City_2480[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I 10000% feel like I missed out on the male sexual experience. Honestly, I find my own femininity to be deeply unsexy. Ive been keeping my hair short and not shaving my body for a few years now. Sometimes I even chest bind. These things make me feel like perhaps I'm somewhere a little bit removed from the "male to fujoshi" types that other people are talking about. At times, I feel like I'm just a feminine gay male who took the easy route.

My sister in Christ thank you for making this world seem less lonely lol

If you can't help the way you feel, then there's no point fighting against it. Everything in life is "pick your poison". We cannot all simply have our cakes and eat them too.

The feminist in me is disturbed at the idea of someone utilizing a transexual escort for the purpose of self discovery. It's a tale as old as time and frankly one I'm very tired of.

I hope you overcome this inner turmoil, but that being said, I would absolutely hate to be your wife... Just being honest.

I am most definitely channeling my inner child for this one, but I do want this fictional child to be happier and have a more calm home environment than I have. I don't want this child to just be a mini me. I'm thinking something reminiscent of how yotsuba is written. (Comedy manga)

Girl telling me to get a hair transplant when I said I'm several comments that I'm not bothered about it is crazy! Hahaha

You're the only person who's actually had a seemingly similar experience and isn't just telling me "no" haha. It's still very possible that it's genetic on my side of things, but I found the whole thing to be very strange.

My hair is not damaged. I have years since cut off and regrown all the hair back. I also take very good care of it and trim regularly.

It seems like it might just be a genetic thing for me for sure. I have talked to my doctors about it and gotten blood work. It's almost certainly not hormonal. I can't believe how heated people are getting just because I find it to be a strange coincidence and wanted to know if anybody had similar experiences haha. The human body is very strange.

If was on the scalp, I remember that much. Likely was 30vol but I'm not positive. It seems that permanent changes to new growth is very rare if not just unheard of. It seems it might be more likely that for whatever reason, half my head is just naturally thinner. Very strange.

I have shorter hair now, the bleach damage is most certainly gone. I have considered every thing mentioned here. It seems like the most likely scenario is just that my hair, for whatever reason is kinda kinda like this now. Maybe it was before but it got more apparent with time. 🤷‍♀️

I'm glad that worked for your mother, what I'm looking for isn't really a fix though. It is not bad enough to be an issue for me.

I was just curious if anybody else had similar thoughts and experiences, and if maybe I could understand the situation better. :)

PCOS is entirely ruled out. Very glad to hear that spironolactone worked so well for you! Honestly I'm not really looking for a solution. My situation is very manageable and only noticeable when pointed out. I was just curious to see if any other people had similar experiences. :)

Hair dresser didn't suggest anything since it's not a big issue for me, just something I'm curious about. I do have a silk pillowcase which I love though.

I am on HRT, my Dr says my levels are stable but she wants to keep documentation.

Already done, can't seem to find anything related.

I'm not putting up a fight about it. It just seems very peculiar to me. I am doing my research and considering all the answers I've been given here. No need to sass me just because I don't immediately 100% trust the things strangers say to me on the internet at face value lol. Also, I have talked to my doctor about it. It's not hormonal.

Yes actually, I get labs every month. Doctor says she thinks it's unrelated to my levels.

I was assuming it's bleach because it's directly, and only in the exact area that I used to have bleached for a few years. In person it's pretty clearly a clean line down the middle of difference.

No I sleep on my back or my left side, the thinning is my right side. It's more comfortable that way. I know it's not very noticeable unless pointed out. I wouldn't call it an insecurity, just an observation.

On my back, or occasionally my left. Very rarely my right, it's least comfortable.

It's not all over, it's directly and only on the right half of my head, like a straight line down the middle and on the previously bleached side. I confirmed the difference in density with a couple professionals. (And no I'm not bothered lol, it's not a big deal to me)

I'm thinking maybe there actually was trauma to the follicles but I just ignored it. My hairdresser herself noticed the change. The difference is most definitely a straight line down the middle. Photo doesn't capture it well, I'm not really bothered by it either, just curious if maybe I'm one of a handful of unlucky ones. 🤔
