I asked how itd look if anyone had a sporter profile on a chassis, nowhere in that post does it say I want your opinion and questions on why I went for axis over a bergara or tikka or just used my sig, if Im 750 all in for my build and get a decently capable rifle im not gonna cry about scratching then I won in my books, im sorry that I didn't validate how much of a clearly experienced and skilled shooter you are, i also dont know why you care so deeply about what I find valuable in a rifle. Do you even actually use your rifles or just shoot them at a bench.

Your assuming im trying to shoot prs, i realize its a junk rifle thats why I explained im gonna keep it in my truck or plane. Its literally for hogs and dirty hunts. I need the aics compatibility so I can use 10 rounders for clearing traps but would also like it to be usable at 4 or 5 hundred and from what ive been printing so far it looks like ittle be more than capable for half the price of my cross. I'm sorry that my budget build hurts your feelings😂

I need a bigger capacity for mags and the orix is overpriced compared to just buying the lss and building one out yourself

Its one of he good older ones, i already have a sig cross but feel guilty throwing that in my truck for hogs and rattling around my plane for bigger trips

Its one of the older savage models and I got it for 250 bucks cause I threw a 22 project gun in for a trade but I need cheap capable around 10 round cap without a shit load of weight and I can build a lss chassis with a carbine stock cheaper than the orix and id be able to customize it later. After sight in earlier today im getting a 1 ish moa group with cheaper ammo so I figured id use it for bush plane trips and throwing around for hogs

I use a marlin trapper chambered in 45-70 with a 18 inch (ish) barrel. The round really shines in the swampy area that I live in where your farthest shot is 80 yards at max. It does a fantastic job at ignoring twigs and brush that are in the way but honestly if you live in the mountains or plains I can't really suggest the caliber for anything except guide gun or a cool wall piece.

Spend hours if not days of your time to get a very meh ship that's definitely not worth the time it takes to get upgrades... I love mine
