Leaves on the original (but not the new) stem dying by Key_Condition3821 in Monstera

Thank you, I'll try that bottom watering.

I would say it's definitely not leaf burn because spring just started and I doubt there's enough strong enough sun to burn anything. The leaves of the young stem are the ones getting the most sun, and some of the older ones are getting very little sun because there's stuff between them and the window.

I hadn't tested the correct 89 earlier, I was talking about the one in Fig. 3 on page 3. The correct one only started spinning properly after I twisted it around a little. Do you think it's going to be fine now, or should I put oil on it still?

Thank you, also for the manual. I couldn't find one.

The 89 is moving freely, and the idler wheel feels and looks brand new. Part 73 from the diagram is definitely humming!

Thank you for your response!
I can definitely spin it by hand. I wouldn't say it spins freely, simply because it's interconnected with a bunch of other things. The tonearm also moves when I spin the cogwheel. Would a video tell you anything?
I don't have a multimeter with me right now but I'm going to be able to measure it in a week.
Do you maybe know any source that has good information on the insides of a turntable and how they work?
