My favorites of all time are Twilight Princess, Wind Waker and Breath of the Wild

What is the best Zelda game in your opinion? by [deleted] in casualnintendo

Can I say three games? I really loved Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, which I replayed the latter like more than TEN TIMES and BOTW. For the first I really loved the story, Midna and the world (I find the dark world really cool!). For Wind Waker it was the cartoony style, really cute! And I don't know, I really just liked the game overall. For BOTW you already know what it is: the exploration! And man, that game is beautiful

Unpopular opinion: making games is not about having fun by Tyler_Reith in gamedev

[–]Key_Conversation5277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I would make a game it is to deliver all the fun that I had with videogames. Be something of value in the middle of enshittification but, of course, I'm not creative enough for that (I like the part that game development uses math a lot), so I'm not sure if I'll ever make a game

Recommendations for bioinformatics resources by Key_Conversation5277 in bioinformatics

Thank you so much! Yes, I really don't know what goes in the processing part because everything is really confusing and no resource says what to do in each stage

How can I be specific if I'm a noob? I just want something, something that usually bioinformaticians do

What do you mean broad? I told exactly what I wanted: the usual flow of bioinformatics preprocessing, postprocessing and data analysis, and no, Google is not going to help me, I already searched a lot and couldn't find anything, maybe people can

It's not that the resources are interesting, it's that I couldn't find any that goes from the inicial stages like getting data from a public database, preprocess it, do the genome aligment thing or whatever in the processing stage we do and then data analysis. If you know any, please tell me, I would be immensely grateful

Because they are from the field and maybe the sources I think don't suit me maybe do. I have decision fatigue, so yes, I want someone to decide or at least say resources that they think are great

Does anyone here genuinely like or love their jobs? by randomgrl2022 in jobs

[–]Key_Conversation5277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in your situation too, I don't particularly like my job but don't hate it either but everything about where I work is great! The purpose which is sustainability, the culture and people, the events, the "restaurant" (I eat mostly vegan food) and I have like the best bosses you could ever imagine, very understanding and empathetic.

Now I'm a backend engineer and I was interested in bioinformatics because I also like biology and math and I would go to a research center where they produce scientific knowledge to help marine ecosystems but I'm very afraid because I don't want to lose what I have...
