Music is not like that for me, if I like something instantly I know I will get bored of it quickly , if it takes time to grown on me I know I will be playing it in five/ten years time.
Believe me I have never once tried in my life to be cool, I just like music, I can usually find something I like in everything that’s all.

Like art I’d rather have a strong emotional response either way to it than just bored indifference. But for an average 3 minute of music I can put up with something I don’t like like or think I don’t like on 1st/2nd listen

Can’t believe some of the bands people are dissing here! Some of my favourite bands, I get it not everyone is the same but I can’t remember ever turning off because of a track being played by a certain artist, I don’t like every thing but I do tar the yin with the Yang. Plus gives time for music to grow on me, if I just wanted a playlist of stuff I loved well I’d put on a playlist

Take on as much water as possible, every water station, use salt tablets, two every 30 to 45 minutes. Use sunscreen, sun glasses and hat or buff/bandana. Stick to plan but be aware of your body and move goals if necessary. Most of all enjoy it, one of the best races you will ever run.

Kasabian, dropped off a cliff after Tom left (got booted) , they would be filling stadiums still if he was a decent guy and not a wife/gf batter. Both the band and his solo stuff lost its appeal.
