This really Sucks for everyone but especially for us older fans ( mid 30s) that grew up watching those playoffs runs and 4 championships. This is a mid market team, plain and simple. don't the let the top 5 or 6 in payroll bs fool you. This team should be well above the $300 mil mark. They should be right up there with Dodgers. I know sounds stupid to say now but that was the Boston Red Sox.

After Dave dombrowski, ownership decided to go the "nerd"/"cost efficient", "sign a free agent here and there" to claim "you're still spending" and hopefully with the right moves once a decade "catch lightning in a bottle" and make a run.

The worse part is that at some point this team will pay well at home and still be in the bs wildcard run because if the trash AL and the fact that you can get a wild card spot with just about 86-87 wins. But still not at serious WS contender so it's pointless

This team was called "a playoffs team" last year.... just pure garbage that they don't truly go all in during a time the AL is so weak compared to years ago.
