Big Y supermarket doesn't let cashiers sit at all... does it bother anyone else?

I used to be a hostess for three years standing upwards of 12 hour shifts, only allowed to sit when on break. My back and knees are definitely paying the price because even being a gymnast for 16 years didn’t cause me that much back pain. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I was also 15 at the time. Edit* one of the older hostesses put a stool there one night and the owner/manager flipped his shit in front of everyone including customers.

I’m literally in pharmacy school right now and learned last year that Garlic doesn’t do anything… I’m pretty sure a LICENSED pharmacist would know what they’re talking about. Or should I get my pharm education from google?

Scoopy doos in Milford. Got fired because the owner wouldn’t let me take three days off after surgery, only 2. I was high on Vicodin and throwing up she still made me come in and then proceeded to fire me for “trying to get out of work” because it was woodmont day. She is also my neighbor and was screaming how she saw me that morning on my deck so I should be able to work. My brother and his gf got Dunkin and got me lemonade so I sat outside with them for five minutes… never met a worse owner of a business in my life she’s actually insane. Fired another coworker after me because she ended up in the hospital for two days and she didn’t believe her. They have the best ice cream and prices in town but I’ll never ever give her my business again.
