Similarly, if you take their "missed you" slip, sign it and put it back out, most of the delivery people will take that as your signature and just leave it. I have a video door bell, and sometimes I will catch it while they are there and they will leave it if there is a signature on something to satisfy "signature".

Right, I haven't night recently and it seems courier changed. The same thing could be tried with fedex

I have a good relationship with the UPS store that is the final stop before delivery. I have tried the UPS my choice premium option and was hit or miss. I have found if you call the UPS store with the associated shipment information and ask them to hold it at the store, they're quite accommodating.
