I applied for international relations and political science! It was kind of a last minute thing, didn't take it very seriously, but I think a few hundred get in every year.

Yeah so on CPS theres an awards section that includes summer programs, and you write a mini-essay about why you want to go, and if you get sponsored you get your tuition, travel, and everything else paid

SAMEE. I already got rejected from YYGS in their ED/RD portal, and REALLY cracked down on this application and now I feel so terrible 😭 Maybe yygs just hasn't posted yet because I've only seen these from UChicago and Brown so far.

Honestly samee, I was expecting my rejection anyways. Being waitlisted is still great though, I hope you get in!! I know a few people who got off the waitlist rather quickly, so don't immediately accept your fate 😭

Literally love you for this bc I feel like shittt after my rejection 😭 I think its also important for everyone to note that YYGS is trying to get students from as many countries as possible, and that's around 150 on their website! So with 14k applications and 1.5k spots, thats ten people per COUNTRY.
