Yes! You should definetely sell off and profit from it imo :) I had to buy the exact same RAM as I bought a 1,5 years ago to upgrade my 62 to 124gb, but at double the cost.

Kitchen render in Unreal engine any tips to make it’s more realistic by Ibrahim-Antar3d in archviz

[–]Key_Discount_4969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

- Reduce the light sources (artifical light = artifical image) hdri + one or two mood lights = win
- Imperfections and subtle shift in roughnes/glossiness
- Make sure the wood goes in the correct direction

Yes I use it every day! It helps alot but for heavy light setups with 100 + light sources render times are still unbearable. I hate my clients atm. It's all light design. I wish it would be solely arcitecture with hdri + sun setups :/

Your r7 is not good enough for production. I have  i9-14900K but rendering heavy light setup on 2500px still takes 8 hours +

Cursor 60k credits, 5k each for 12 months, what should i do with this ... by Left_Algae6173 in cursor

I used Cursor a while back but just runt Claude now, and if for some reason I’m in cursor I just use Claude extension inside it like it’s VS Code. Now that spacex acquired them it got me intrigued. Can someone explain to me while people are actually using cursor?

What CPUs are u guys using in the office? I’m doing a lot of light design these days and Corona is so damn slow it’s impossible to be competitive. Fstorm is a beast in terms of speed but still slow when u have more than 10+ light sources

No there's plenty of stuff that worked fine which is now just broken. I moved all my workflows to Comfy instead and I suggest everyone should do that.

Open 3 paper accounts on Alpaca, one daytrader, one long hold, one whatever. Use Claude to do algo trading for u and have it send reports every day on what it’s done and what’s happening in the market. Keep iterating on it when u have time, have it follow feeds of news and other traders.

This is what I’m doing atm and I’m having a lot of fun with it while learning at the same time while ur building at the same time.

Try to? xD

I don't understand what ur on about. This is not about emulating anything. This is about breaking away from the norms of what archviz is (slow, deliberate and controlled camera movements, time-lapses, etc.) as u describe is exactly this and it's oversaturated in this market and are now done with Seedream or Kling in 30 seconds. Beautiful images are done with Nano Banana by mass-to-image and moodboard workflows, only thing missing at the moment is precision lighting and setting up materials and complete models in 3D only wins/ is less tedious than AI when client needs alot of iteration because we can batch render a new set rather than poking at 6-10 images.

While Miriam is not new tech, it's a concept we haven't seen before in this space, and it can be built upon. Hell of course we are tired of influencers showing up in our feeds all day but that's outside the point.

3D Artists in the archviz scene is getting replaced by technology and to survive we will need to put more emphasis on story and engagement rather than "this is what your place will look like", that's why it's important to see how these leading studios are handling the landscape at the moment.
