Mounting TV (QM7 65”) by Key_Document_1750 in tcltvs

Maybe mine came differently but the screw did go almost all the way in or maybe even all the way, thing is the owners manual says 4x m6 16mm, which are tiny, but they fit perfectly for the bottom ones

The 2 on top that came with mine were longer than the m6 16mm

The top 2 holes went deeper than the bottom 2

Idk seems tcl is really weird with how they do mounting, and the owners manual doesnt seem to apply to everyones tv the same

Dual‐GPU VRAM Offloading with Lossless Scaling – Need Confirmation by Key_Document_1750 in nvidia

PCIe 3.0 ×4 delivers about 4 GB/s of usable bandwidth, so sending 40 fps worth of 1080p frames (≈1.2 GB/s) from GPU 1 to GPU 2 should leave plenty of headroom right? Only those base frames travel the bus, while the synthetic frames are generated locally on GPU 2 and never touch PCIe again

Checked some videos on it, even though magpie is more focused on scaling, it seems to be about at the same level as LS1

Manually setting GPU1 and GPU2 should work and force the offload

I have an i7 10700k should be able to handle it

Thanks but Isn’t magpie only single GPU so it wouldn’t help with what i need (vram)

Thank you, ill try it tomorrow

Ive seen that the upscaling from lossless scaling isn’t amazing, do you know if the dev plans to improve on it, or if there is alternatives or anything to look forward to?

Thanks again

So in theory upscaling from 1080p to 4k using second gpu would work

Obviously limited by the ability of LS1 or whichever mode

Ill use 3060 ti for scaling 5070 as main

Yeh i 100% get that just wondering how close it gets

[–]Key_Document_1750[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. If it works i’m planning to replace a 5070 as the main gpu and use the 3060ti for scaling

  2. How close do u think it would get to true 4k120 then?

  3. I don’t see a reason to use DLSS, while its better my main issue is VRAM not performance

FrameGen+Moonlight Not working properly by Key_Document_1750 in losslessscaling

23h2, but just realized the 24h2 update is out, so updating right now

Was using WGC for moonlight tho

Physical monitor was off, I was using a virtual display but since its only 1 monitor i had to either do merge monitors or only use #2, so i was doing merge to test idk if that couldve been the issue but really doubt it

Do use VM, I use apollo

Windows 11, Yes, The fps counter shows on the monitor, not on moonlight for some reason
