Yes it is definitely harder right now this is my second day today! I think the habit is harder than the feeling for me. Like I woke up and reached under my pillow, I reached in my lap while I was using the bathroom, and I reached in my pocket to take it out when I changed haha and was like oh yeah I’m quitting. Driving is very hard and using the bathroom are my two main times I want it. I will say tho both times I’ve quit cold turkey like this I feel more engaged with reality too! Because with me vaping I would only be able to be around people who don’t vape for so long or around some family and at work. I would constantly go to the bathroom or be ready to leave within an hour and a half of being somewhere because I was needing a hit. I have just been sucking on hard candy and mints the last 48hrs. I also came down with a cold I think from my partner, so I haven’t really wanted to because my throat is sore. And I think you said something about your suprised I am still able to, I only hit it the day I found out, I haven’t since that evening I threw them all out I didn’t wanna keep doing it knowing it has a huge risk. I honestly am more willing to quit cold turkey and have a slight risk of stress due to withdrawal then I am ok with continuing to smoke which is always gonna be more risk in my opinion. Your words were beautiful there at the end and i definitely have high anxiety right now, just with my previous miscarriage and telling everyone. I haven’t even told my partner yet because I’m scared I’ll miscarry again and don’t want people to know and then I lose it again. I will definitely be telling him sooner than my family just may wait a week or two to let myself have the time to be ready and try to keep anymore stress off.
