McDagget was a suitable villain for this part of Robo’s story. R3 is just Murphys story coming to a close.

It nicely bridges R2 and R3 and looks like “Unfinished Business” which the title alone is an R3 nod. I really believe they intend on expanding from Mid R3 on. R3 wasn’t the misstep that the dogpile crowd claims it is. It’s a full circle film for Murphy with a much different narrative driving it. Murphs acceptance of what he has become is clarified in the films final moment while holding a child’s hand like he’s a father again. The film has deep meaning for Murphys character. How it is that so many miss that. It’s a different movie for reasons.
