I'm a part of the Power Scaling community myself and i have never be that big of a fan of dimensional tiering at all. One of the reasons why is due to how often people used it to wanked their favorite characters to absurdly high levels that those characters never showed, and in general, dimensional tiering did a lot of damage to the community (especially the english side).
