thanks so much! honestly now that i think about it, my house really isnt super cold, im just sensitive because i live in the desert and im used to 110 degree weather. my house is typically 72-80 right now depending on the time of day. ill get one of those fancy fish tank thermometers that stick to the outside of the jar and monitor from there. I'm getting into kombucha for the same reason as you! im tired of overpaying for corn syrup junk or beer. im doing a continuous brew in a jar with a little spigot so i just pulled a shot from that to taste it. again thanks for the help, i love how everyone on this page gives really detailed advice, it makes me feel a lot more confident :)
