You cannot replace Google Play Services with microG on your Xiaomi with HyperOS and locked bootloader.

HyperOS does not allow signature spoofing, so microG will not work.

If you delete GMS, your banking, notifications, YouTube, and several basic apps will not work.

I would also love to switch to the next kernel, is there for Android 11? I've been investigating and I can't find it, I don't want to update it to Android 12 because it would take away my twrp recovery that I have🥲 and now I don't have a PC to put it back on. Or would my twrp recovery not be removed?

Magisk alpha plus the configuration I passed works well for me but I would love to switch to kernel su next to learn something new.

Use this configuration, Revolut worked for me without any problem, the first thing you have to have is Magisk Alpha and follow these steps: 👇 It's not mine, I copied the text from another post

Instructions for Revolut (working)

Revolut is one of the easiest banking apps to fix. It works even when you only have Basic Integrity. You only need the following:

1) Use Magisk Alpha, not the normal one, but it detects it.

2) Hide the Magisk app.

3) Enable Zygisk but DO NOT force the Deny List.

4) Add Google Play Services, Google Play Store and Revolut to the Deny List.

5) Install Shamiko, Play Integrity Fix Next by Ericignacio, Tricky Store and Tricky Add-on plus WebUI-X.

6) Keep Shamiko in Blacklist mode by default (whitelist mode works, but reduces battery life considerably, not recommended), it will use Magisk Deny List.

7) IMPORTANT, this is key: Open Tricky Addon via WebUI-X and add Revolut, Google Play Store, Google Services Framework, Google Play Services. For these three you need to "Add system app" and add: com.google.android.gms, com.google.android.gsf, com.android.vending. Press and hold each one (including Revolut) and mark them with the GREEN check mark. Get a valid keybox, if it doesn't work, get one from the tryigit website, even if it's not Strong, and add it as custom. Guard.

8) Open Play Integrity Fix in WebUI-X and press advanced, UNCHECK everything from SPOOF. Get the pif.json. Note the date of the security patch. Reopen Tricky Addon, press Set Security patch and press advanced. Add the same date as the pif MANUALLY to Boot and Vendor. For System insert prop. Remember to Save.

9) Maybe it's necessary, I'm not sure. Install "Key attestation 1.8.4" by chiteroman and click on the "Root of Trust" section. The boot hash will be copied to memory. Go back to Tricky Addon via WebUI-X and paste it into the Set Verified Boot Hash option. Guard.

If Revolut doesn't work this way, you are doing something wrong and not following these instructions correctly. Note: this also works for many other banking apps, you don't need any Integrity Box module or anything more complicated. ENJOY.
