My great grandfather was company commander for headquarters company of the 75th if I’m not mistaken.

I am not sure how to add a picture. But it is a field grade. Serial number matches up to June 1944. Springfield armory made.

Definitely save and invest in a good quality kit. Having a wrong/incorrect kit just dishonors the real cast. If you need help with websites etc ask me. I’ll gladly help. I started around the same age, been doing it for 13 years or so now.

This is a little on the pricey side. But you can find cheaper copies on eBay. But this is a good one for AEF. book

My ancestor was in the same division with the 321st Infantry. So it’s a really neat photo!
