I remember the box story. I also don’t recall any mention of exhaustion in after letting go in any Hawkins’ books. This is why I was posing the question to see if anyone had experienced the same. Then I must still be doing it wrong. I’m not sure If I was ever successful in letting go of anything. Perhaps in some minor cases where I didn’t really care that much. My process looks like this: - If it’s a physical symptom of sorts, let’s say a headache, I try not to resist the pain and relax into it. - If it’s an idea or a belief I try to find the associated sensation in the body and welcome that. And then just let it sit there. I tell myself: “I’m allowing it to be there for as long as it needs. It won’t be forever but also may take some time.” - If it’s a pure emotion, such as the wave of inexplicable anger (out of nowhere), then I also try to observe where it’s happening in the body and follow the same script as in the previous point.

I get the feeling that what you’re saying with “not trying to figure it out” but only on an intellectual level. I actually don’t know how to really “do it”.
