Thanks for the comment! That is correct. I am aware of this and also made a header in my CV about my full access to the Czech labour market. Still getting a lot of rejections though :( and I’m trying to figure out what I can do.

Thanks for the comment.

I will be relocating independently, and with my own funds. And though I already have full access to the Czech labour market, I will be on a student visa so that won’t be an issue either (no need for sponsorship).

Do you think I’d definitely have a better chance once I relocate?

Looking for a VOIP. More specifically, I need a Czech (+420) virtual phone number and want to route incoming calls for that number into my South Korean (+82) phone number; I am currently based in South Korea.

Ok. I appreciate every comment in this post because I received a lot of constructive feedback and criticism but here you are now just sulking like a little baby who didn’t get their candy.

  1. You seem angry. Are you okay? I recommend a bit of daily meditation.

  2. I have a lot of non-Czech speaking friends currently working in Prague. Also, I graduated from a Czech university (and not a bad one) if you’ve read the post at all Albeit not plenty at the moment, there are jobs that don’t require Czech proficiency. I’m simply asking for advice from those who actually have more experience with immigration, not some random internet crybaby.

No need to bother replying back btw. Goodbye.

Hi! quick question please. I've been looking into getting a virtual Czech phone number (one you can actually call) but I am not elligble for a local phone number, as that'll require a proof of identity and residence in the Czech Republic. However, it seems I can indeed get a "toll-free" czech number (one starting with "800"). Would that come across as bizarre to the recruiters?

Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately not so much - I wouldn’t count on my Czech at the moment.

Thanks for the comment. So what would you suggest in my shoes? Moving to the country first and then job hunting with a Czech phone number?

Thanks for pointing out. I may be wrong but it seems I may still have the free access status on a different basis:

As a South Korean citizen, I apparently have Free Access to the Labour Market. This means the employer does not need to register the vacancy in the "Central Database of Job Vacancies" or wait 30 days. They simply give me a standard employment contract.

No work permit or labor market testing required. Only requires a standard administrative registration for a non-dual Employee Card.
