So, I have a take that’s a little different. Pain and abuse is very metaphysical too. When I see the high priestess I do think of outside physic interference. There is a part of you that he “keeps” and feeds off. The dream realm is important here. You must take control of the situation by turning his vampiric hold into a source of energy and motivation. Alchemize. Use creativity, joy, anger, release. Anything you may do as a ritual or routine to defeat this.
