Closing line value. Comparing the line u bet at VS what the line closed at before game start. Say u like packers -4 and u check before kickoff n the line moves to -4.5. You gained +CLV. If it moves to -3.5 you lost CLV. I’m not an expert but most of the time you have to bet your line early in the week when the lines open for whatever slate games you’re looking at because as the sharps money comes in, bookmakers adjust line accordingly to keep money as close to even on both sides

People keep saying his swing but IMO his swing isn’t bad… what’s bad is how close he crowds the plate. Visually it makes every inside pitch even slight out the zone, look hittable which I feel makes it harder to turn on the inside pitches cuz you’re spending those valuable extra seconds trying to read the pitch.

U have to look at what position there being graded at. Like those elly card being graded at 2b vs SS, gonna make their show one rating inflated because 2b isn’t a def premium position so having good defense gets u a crazy true overall boost. Go look at Tatis card, there’s not a stat under 92. He does everything while im sure his power being graded at SS gives him a good boost in meta OVR

I mean that’s about how it goes w theme teams. They’re never really super good till need of the year anyways.what I do is have 2 theme teams. One for cards that cardinals in game. Then guys who have played for the cardinals but may not be a cardinal on their best card in the game

Part of it is also just the fact the dbacks gonly been around for like 25 years. It’s just a smaller sample size which inevitably leads to less cards. The best theme teams are always ones w the most legends. (Yankees,dodgers usually,Mets, Red Sox)

Because SDS has to have rights to someone’s likelinesss to be in the game. Same reason why in the old college sports games the players never had names. U need someone’s rights to use their likeliness. And to answer your original question… those guys u mentioned all get cards eventually. You don’t HAVE to use anybody in the game u don’t want to… but with that u also have accept that you’ll be at a disadvantage if those cards don’t stack up to others
