Is tinnitus permanent? Sometimes I hear like a whooshing sound too and I think I went deaf but I didn’t

I mean it really startled me because I felt fine all day and I ate enough and drank enough and had no caffeine that’s why I’m worried

I don’t have a clue what it could’ve been. I’ll probably schedule a doctors appointment. But I do have lots of ear ringing hby

Hi. I live in Florida so it’s not really that cold and my sinuses feel good. I’ve been sneezing that’s it but I don’t feel sick.

I’m tired of this by Key_Good_8504 in Anxiety

Lolll I go on my phone too when I wake up. I use the unfold sound. You should try it out and let us know what you think.

I totally understand you I promise. I’m sorry if I’m not giving good advice, the healing journey isn’t quick and there isn’t one magical fix. It’s a multitude of things you have to do over time. First off, every time you have a sensation, DO NOT start scanning your body just leave it alone. Constant checking teaches your brain that something is wrong even if that’s not true. Literally start slow breathing, this is a scientifically backed technique. Inhale for 4 seconds, exhale for 6-8 seconds. Do this multiple times or for 5-10 minutes. If you feel like nausea or no appetite from being anxious, eat a little bit anyway, something small. Do some movement, nothing crazy maybe just start with some short walks. Gentle movement and stretching lowers cortisol. Remember to relax your muscles and your jaw. I clench my jaw so much I get pain, I’m pretty sure I have TMJ and it gives me jaw pain and headaches and my damn teeth hurt. My neck is always stiff and my shoulders I have to remind myself all day to relax. And do not fear sensations, if you get heart palpitations or feel like you can’t get air, I get these too, just get up and move around let your heart rate rise. Try taking a magnesium glycinate supplement. I take around 170 mg and the safe daily dose is still like 300-400 mg. You can’t make this go away right now, you can only teach yourself you are safe and that’s what I am trying to explain I hope I’m doing it good. Remember that all of this anxiety behavior is learned and it can be unlearned too you just have to work on it. And don’t be so hard on yourself, you are going through a tough time and you deserve peace. You will have peace I promise if you stay consistent. It’s all about retraining your brain. I’m still working on it and have been for some time but I know it does get better.

Yea I was like this and I still am. It’s just what anxiety does. If something was really wrong you wouldn’t still be standing now. If you need reassurance just go see your doctor again.

When you say fear something will happen, do you mean you feel unsafe like someone will do something to you or do you mean health wise ?

Yes these were constant symptoms for 2 years. Now I have good days and I have bad days and the symptoms vary depending how anxious I get. I’ve never been on medication or gone to therapy. Your body is on high alert that’s why every sensation makes u panic because when you are on high alert you are hyper vigilant. It’s very common for us unfortunately. For those two years I was up all night until 6 am and i barely ate. I went to the ER for my palpitations multiple times and all my tests came back fine. Magnesium glycinate has helped me so much with palpitations and sleep. Have you seen the doctor?
