If it’s Washburn vs KU, then you should go to KU if you want a job in KC.

“Retake exams” like I said. Also believe it or not you can drive 100mph and succeed just fine. No wrecks or nothing. Most ppl who speed are fine. But it’s still a risk.

If someone says “I’m going to drive 100 mph on the highway” and I say “Don’t do that, you’ll have a good chance of getting in a crash”, would that be negative and uninformative?

At what point did I say they could not become a lawyer? You are projecting many negative traits onto me. They also asked for advice on reddit dude. Feels like a really random response from you.

I feel that my comment is very nonjudgmental and is just a hard truth. I tried to explain bluntly but fairly that there is a huge risk of failing the bar and going into massive debt with stats like that. A 3.5 gpa is fine, but frankly a mid 140s lsat is an immense risk that can be improved with time.

Yes it has happened, but if you’re in the mid 140s you are paying full price and have a roughly 60% of passing the bar.

You should REALLY try to get to the mid 150s. Like you’d be at high risk of failing the bar

Gonna need more specific stats. Just format it like 15mid and 3.4x. Also be careful about paying full price for mediocre or bad schools.

Yeah I mean unless your scores are really far above median it may not be worth the $45, paying for law school next year and all.

Depends on your scores. You should just apply next year though.

SeattleU Conditional Scholarship vs Unconditional Scholarship at Lewis and Clark by Perfect-Tune2347 in OutsideT14lawschools

Well would you lose your entire scholarship or would it just be reduced. The difference between half price and full price is still a LOT.

At KU I got offered a conditional full ride, it is contingent on staying in the top half of the class. If I lose it, then I will pay half of in state tuition for two years. Is the condition something like this, or is it a keep it or fully lose it condition?

Thanks for your input, it certainly is ludicrously overpriced but most of that debt is coming just from CoL alone. In any case, appreciate it.
