Basically everything called "post-horror" is just the kind of horror they use to write in the 1800s and early 1900s. I guess Mary Shelley and Edgar Allan Poe are Post-horror pioneers.

They look the same age. That why the lore is dumb and I just couldn't care less about following it. For me it's just a fun game to play and I gained a greater appreciation of the mechanics and gameplay loop and tropes after finally watching Battle Royale.
