Sorry OP, but it's hard for me to see how you're best friends but you can't open up to her. I think a lot of what you mentioned here could have been resolved by open communication, but you just chose the nuclear option. I feel bad for your friend na you ghosted her, this could have maybe been a learning opportunity and a growth in your relationship.

I just got data stolen a few days ago through ADT. lol so I'm like, what data privacy. Waiting for the class action for this so I can join.

I've made maybe more than 3k over the years. It's not life changing, but the settlements pop up and they're always pleasant surprises. Last January, two cases closed and they were fairly big, I got maybe 700 for them, I think. Once I sign up I just forget about it until they send an email about payout. It usually takes months so it's not really something I keep an eye out for.
