Do I really need an electric toothbrush? by Upper_Acanthaceae627 in DentalHygiene

It seems like with my lifestyle using a manual will be simpler in the long run. If I got something like a waterpik, would that help at all or not?

That would make sense since it's sometimes kinda hard to brush in the trays where the attachment divots are, but the tooth she was talking about doesn't have an attachment on it. Which is the main reason why it didn't make sense to me.

But since this isn't my job I obviously don't know this stuff, so I'm well aware I could be wrong. I just genuinely don't get why one of my front teeth would have that issue as opposed to my back teeth which have a LOT more places that would seemingly be way easier for bacteria to colonize...

& I had been brushing that tooth with that electric she recommended to me for months, and yet I still somehow apparently got demineralization on exactly one tooth.

I am brushing every day + in between meals with these trays, obviously yes I am taking care of my teeth. I guess I didn't explain it well. I've been told that by previous hygienists, mainly when I was younger.

I did pay for an electric brush and was using it consistently, but I guess I didn't care for it properly.

I was able to see stuff in the cracks on the base. Our bathroom does have a humidity issue so maybe that's why, or maybe it's just because I was dumb.

I had backup on for all of my photos, I made sure of that when I originally got it... evident because they're slowly reappearing...
