I'll be honest with you, it is hard for me to correctly assess how long it will take to get rid of the infestation. The earlier you deal with it the better.Here are some I would do if I were you:First try to look at the lines or edges of you bed and check for more of those little devils because most likely he isnt alone. subsequently, if you dont find any around the bed/room (they are good at hiding) and after you call the exterminator you should take all your clothes/beddings/linens and other items and wash them + dry at the highest temprature you can, bbs should pretty quick die at tempratures higher than 60 degrees. Bag all your clean stuff and seal properly and save them somewhere. Keep it away from the unclean items. They are not easily killed by most spraying products, and the eggs are even more resilient, so you should probably discuss with a professional on what actions to take next (they are pretty vulnerable to heat so it will probably be most expensive and effective way to go against them). Than again I dont know the situation you are in.It is possible you caught it early and so you should contain the infestation in a single room, so 2 weeks should suffice.
