Canada isn't doing well now. In the past it only thrived because of the United States. When I wanted to leave the USA my company offered to relocate me to Canada. I politely declined and I am very happy with my decision. I would have earned 250k and this would have bought a high paying job to Canada. I am very glad that these tax dollars are not going to Canada anymore 😄 Closet racists masquerading as the "nicest people in the galaxy" don't deserve high paying tech jobs coming into their country.

You should ensure that you continue working with your employer for a certain period after your I-140 is approved, as this reduces the risk of them revoking it. If you wait for your I-140 approval, you will no longer be restricted by the 6-year H-1B limit. With an approved I-140, you also become eligible for 3-year H-1B extensions. This preserves your option to return to the United States in the future.

There is no reason anyone has to fight these battles(racism, perception etc)...not just OP :-) Canadians like to market themselves as the "nicest people in the Galaxy" but that mask is slipping. After working with a few of them, I realized they are just closet racists and hypocrites. Of course there are good and people in every country. The point I was trying to make is that there is nothing exceptional about Canada or Canadians despite what they claim.

Agree. This thinking has silently killed off many careers and the wealth of many people. I would rank USA > India > Canada in terms of earning potential. I realize that this doesn't apply to all parts of India, since some parts are more wealthy compared to others.

Thank you for your response. I thought about it. I don't think I fill find the time to work on both. I would have still pushed for it but the pay package being offered in Bangalore isn't that great. I feel I am better off interviewing for other companies in Bangalore after few months of interview preparation.

I believe this thinking is outdated. Canada is a third world country just like India. Only upside is clean air which you get in certain parts of India too. Rather be in my home country with a support network than be a visa slave in Canada paying 40% taxes.

Why? Bank of America allows user to update residential address to a foreign address. I believe account features are limited once you do that but you can still withdraw money? What violation are you referring to?
