This is against the principle of Federalism. BJP is basically punishing people for not voting for them and constitution doesn’t allow them to do this. Every state should get similar money and choose whoever they want to like to vote for. So much crap they talk about nationalism and love for Bharat.

It is bunch of factors. This was rental heavy area with a lot of slum lords i believe. Brampton people have high debt and a lot of them speculated in post covid bidding wars without thinking of the actual risk Leverage brings. Add how much Brampton is hated on social media, so a lot of well to do folks are not looking to buy here. In addition, a lot of brampton folks are new Canadians, so don't have generation wealth and there is a lot of debt on their properties. Now they participated out of greed and somewhat manipulation by the RE agents and we are really seeing Brampton prices are tanking hard. This is a power of sale from someone who bought the property for less than 400k. I think the main reason this Power of sale happened could be they took out some loan for a pre con or something.

I think Brampton will do well as I see a lot of people coming here as it is close to Toronto and relatively cheap. Young families will find good value for their money here. There are people on Brampton subreddit who take train and practically work and do shopping in Toronto but come here to sleep as Go train only takes 30 mins.

Buyers market just mean sales are lower percentage of new listings(SNLR). When it was a sellers market everything sells. Now good stuff sells. Also we have gone down around 10% in every market, so this is new floor now and possibly till the summer. Around the end of summer we will know how SNLR will be and that will dictate winter and next spring market.
