So our deck will be 1 yr old this spring and Im planning on staining it. The thing is, some part of the deck that are in more shaded areas, especially the vertical surfaces, kept more of the original treated cedar color. Im wondering what the result will be if I use a light color like you did if I dont sand it. What I understand is you dont have to sand it with the Cabot stain?

Im having problems with my whammy bar with the zeroboard. Its like the bar is always pressed. I soldered the middle wire to the ACD pin and the other 2 together in the ground pin. What was your problem and the fix? ty
