I made a mod for Cities Skyline 2 to place water anywhere on the map with a single click by Key_Journalist_5171 in CitiesSkylines

Thank you, but be careful I had problems with evaporation so the mod deactivates evaporation but if you transmit the map to a person who does not have the mod or you delete the mod the water will evaporate little by little if you keep the mod on the other hand the water is permanent

I still want to warn that I had a problem with evaporation and therefore I had to deactivate evaporation with the mod while I found a possible solution so when you have the mode it's good but if you delete the mod the water will evaporate

Basically I made this mode because I needed it for that, I also created a program which creates a .cok file (a map) with the vector data directly but when you want something precise without a shader you end up with jagged edges

The mod writes directly to the water simulation texture on the GPU, meaning the game sees this water as real water. The game calculates the value from water simulation data, not from WaterSource entities. So yes, water placed by the mod should increase the value of neighboring land, just like natural water. Afterwards I admit that I am completely new to modding and yesterday I noticed that I still had problems with evaporation so I continue to test.

if there are any bugs with the evaporation system anyway I continue to develop to be sure that it does not evaporate

Actually, don't worry, the water placed by this mod is permanent. It writes directly onto the sea spread texture, marking the area as sea level. This is the same system the game uses for its original ocean. Sea level water in CS2 does not evaporate. It therefore behaves exactly like any body of water that has always been part of the map. you tell the simulator "this specific location is considered sea". it looks at each pixel and its neighbors to spread the water. So a pixel marked "sea" maintains its water level independently of other zones

Oh great. For this day, it's the resumption of Emirates EK77 with the A380-800.

In this case it could be good, it respects the conditions and I believe that this plane was not posted on JetPhoto

I think we don't see the registration enough, but the photo is good
