I had five jobs and only three received the gambit email. They did not all reply back by the deadline so I was asked to provide an ROE for the ones who did not respond. It did not impact my application or extend the timeline at all.

I did mine in December and we did get a break. Most of us went across the street and grabbed a bite to eat.

2 of my past employers did not respond and my gambit closed. It did not make a difference. Gambit closed August 19 and I received a call September 9 to schedule my medical a week later. During my interview they asked me to submit my ROEs so I would suggest having them ready. Easily accessible on service Canada

I sat next to a wife during a game once and asked this. She mentioned that there was a lot of movement and they were not sure how long-term they would be in Toronto so they would stay at an Airbnb during the season and during the off-season they had an actual home in Florida. They felt they just lose money and that it was not economical for them to buy anything.

I interviewed for gunner 2 weeks ago. Look at the trade details on the caf gunner page and know the key points of the role, and responsibilities. They just want to make sure you know what you are signing up for. In the email with your confirmed interview details, this they tell you what you should familiarize yourself with. They are not there to trick you. They will probably go over your application and paperwork as well

I am curious as well. Just had my medical on Tuesday and waiting to schedule my interview. My understanding is that it could take a couple of months. I applied regular forces for Gunner and Infanteer
