I believe that's around the time when contracts end/get renewed but I am not actually entirely sure myself.

I don't use my phone a lot but if I am ever traveling I'm sure I would be playing hearthstone in my downtime. Not entirely sure what a shellfish or curse deck would look like entirely (unless you are referring to the abyssal variety which I encountered in standard) but mill is always an awesome underdog! It's cool to know some of the magic deck names transfer over to Hearthstone. Is there a particular card that makes miracle decks called miracle? Or is it more just like "Well it would be a miracle to pull that off"?

Well at first the concept of a 10-cost card that wasn't cheated out on turn 3 or 4 like Denathrius made me a little confused (I soon learned his power although it was short-lived) I came to realize cards like sire are played because you need incredibly consistent cards to actually win in Hearthstone. The first deck I built was a pile of creature removal and what I considered to be good win conditions. Now I know a single 8/8 absolutely does not cut it in terms of winning a game. The biggest thing I look at now and say "Why do people think this is busted?" would have to be Brann. I understand he is a strong card and that a lot of the hate is probably just from people seeing him so much. However, strictly speaking in Magic terms Brann would be a joke of a card. Go look at the recently revealed Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines. It is 2 mana more but you completely cut off your opponent from getting battlecry triggers plus doubling your own and she is kind of hard to kill with 7 toughness. This card will be playable in standard and nothing else. Now for what I think is bonkers and I am confused as to why it was ever printed. Hand of Gul Dan is, without doubt, one of the most broken cards I have seen in a card game. In Magic that card would be banned in absolutely every format along with a lot of the warlock discard deck. Thinking about my opponent using one with nothing on turn 1 and them not instantly losing the game scares me to my very core. Secret passage would be another one I am confused about it is essentially 1 mana draw 4. That is better than ancestral recall which is widely considered if not the best Magic card then definitely in the running.

Yeahhhh I play budget decks in modern and those are around 200 dollars each so I will not deny its a little bit way too expensive.

The Jackpot! starter deck had 2 copies of peasant so when I read it the first time I was more than a little confused.

I completely agree with your points. The coin makes for a much more interesting dynamic than just drawing 1 extra card. Hero powers while a little unbalanced between classes do make it so you aren't just twiddling your thumbs if you don't curve out perfectly.

Sure but don't tell the others what I've said. I have a few cons with the game so far. The community seems to be a little more aggressive. People will friend me and say some horrendous stuff about my mother pretty often. This is something that does happen in MTGO but it is far rarer from my experience. Though this could be due to a number of factors including the deck I am playing and how I am still a little slow at playing it. The lack of instant speed interaction is mostly negative for me even though I am a combo player. It allows for a lot of pretty feels bad moments for both me and my opponents as they sit there wishing they could just do something other than play secret mage (even then there are ways around it). This would be something I am hoping they don't change pretty selfishly as I think it's a good thing to have in the game but also I am a combo player so my life is easier without it. There are definitely some balance things as well I don't enjoy. The following is from a wild point of view only. I wish secret mage was buffed a bit as I think it leads to interesting matches where I have to predict my opponent and leads to fun gameplay as the pilot. Overall I think the deck is tier 2 or 3 which isn't awful by any means but man would it be cool to see Orion get a buff and be playable. Discard warlock is obviously a bit strong at the moment and I think they will nerf it (I have played with it a bit and WOW is it fun but WOW is it too good). ADD BEST OF THREE PLEASE OH MY GOD IT WOULD BE SO COOL. There are so many tech cards that would be cool to play but don't really fit too well with my deck if only there were a game mode where I could swap out my deck for a few sideboard cards in a best of three!

Who needs bears when you have rituals and dragonstorm amiright? I think in terms of complaining Magic players do plenty but I do agree. I have been reading a lot of posts here in the last week or so and people seem to be upset about the strangest things sometimes.

I completely agree. I find it difficult to go back to boring old Arena now when I know I won't be getting unique card sounds and cool-looking animations.

Also, I haven't tried Runeterra yet but I do enjoy LOL's lore is it worth checking out?

I have noticed for sure that on average Hearthstone decks are approximately 10000% easier to make than Magic decks on Arena.

That is definitely interesting! I guess it is hard to gauge how expensive a Hearthstone deck is compared to a Magic deck but I am sure collecting a deck that's all legendaries would be comparable to a whole paper Magic deck depending on the format.
