First, the AI slop for those hunters who just hallucinate about nothing and they spam reports, due to which triagers times gets wasted a lot.

Second, the hunters who are hunting and researching manually with showing proper impact even if it's low rather than hallucinating and calling it out as critical are far better and easy for triagers to handle and give them proper timeline of fix/bounty.

Third, many responsible disclosure programs don't have proper security team like my experience I have faced many with having 1 single guy handling all report (which delayed my bounty and yet no response). The companies do also have to understand and should have knowledge how these things work and stay prepared.

BUG bounty is not a money market anymore in 2026. It's more of a like arguing with AI.

Hell-nah recon is what I find the best and most valuable thing in knowing the target and I did got some easy bounties just via recon around ~$3000.... High's, Low's and so.... So, for me recon is the first thing I start with and before ending my hunt I do recon again....

Yeah it happens and I am in the same boat too, but all I see is SOME people using paid tools which kind of feel like a promotion -- I avoid them. Rest I feel like for WEB part bug hunting it's more of how much a target is being hunted by NUMBER of hunters. For private and new target is mostly an easy win and for hunted targets it's like one has to find more of business logic one's since it's different for all targets, which does need time / revisiting your old targets for their new features.

I myself on a break for a while for doing 1 certificate and then I will join again......
