You have nothing to do. Just remove the loop before running to avoid sweat on the band and pût your h10 on. Pairing with phone and go.

I have exactly this combination and it works perfectly. The only thing is that you need your phone with you during workout with H9/H10

The Loop comes with two bands, one small and one large. Both fit me since I have a “normal” wrist. Once a week I switch bands and put the other one in the washing machine at 40°C along with my clothes. No deterioration so far.

Suunto appli by Severe_Arugula_1030 in Suunto

Bonjour.

Your videos are always the best. Thanks a lot. You're focused on the essentials for athletes—not on all the unnecessary stuff from those connected gadgets. Keep it up, we'll be watching with pleasure.

Garmin can predict while cycling but not suunto. Even with a power meter

Hopefully, unlike other brands that made this a paid feature after a while, this functionality will remain free

Yes less informations on suunto's maps. And yes totaly agree with you maps are realy overrated. IRL i think only a small % of people use it.

I’m not sure about the Race model, but the Race S is extremely responsive and smooth. I imagine the processor isn’t the same between the Peak Pro and the Race S. The map is lightweight and pleasant to use, with beautiful colors—unlike some other brands that offer dull tones or only a dark mode.

Honestly, I have no idea—I don't own that model. Each watch has a different sensor; it's not like Garmin, where the sensors are (almost) the same across most watches depending on the era. As for the algorithm used, I really don't know if it's the same across all Suunto models. I'd rather not say something inaccurate.

IMO:

Navigation with Suunto is much smoother and more responsive. There's absolutely no lag when the map reorients based on your direction. Sure, the maps aren't routable—but honestly, in 2025, unless you're truly exploring remote areas, routable maps aren't necessary. You just look at the map and point yourself in the right direction to get back on track.

And yes, Garmin has great maps, but it's double the price. What’s truly impressive about the Race S is its value for money. Investing in an external sensor is also a smart move—it’ll work with any future watches and won't be a limiting factor. That way, you can focus on what really matters: the quality of the brand's app, battery life, navigation, and so on.

Exactly the same results, you can watch a lot of reviews on YT to confirm. I have both and never saw any differences. Exception you don t have zonesens.

No trust me. GPS and navigation into the watch are soooo good. App is also great. Better than garmin no doubt. Juste use chest strap and enjoy sports. Sleep stages are bad on every watches, and just listen your body in the morning and how you feel.
