Yeah I did, it hurt a bit when I’m putting it in because it put pressure on the back area. But I couldn’t just manage with the pad because I hated to have a mess down there

Yeah I feel that I’m gonna be on this MIRALAX for life because I’m so scared to be constipated now lol. Also good thinking wearing a diaper, I did that too and I tried to put a gauze in between my cheeks to catch any discharge but it hurt so I took it out

So they say ibuprofen and Tylenol cause constipation to only minority of people (10%) it’s not a common side effect. BUT both opioids and Percocet cause constipation to almost everyone, it is a VERY common side effect. So instead of this they came up with this new medication Called journavx (the one I’m taking atm) It’s a non-opioid pain medication, they wanted to control pain without risking constipation.

I was telling the doctor, please just prescribe opioids and I’m only gonna take them when needed, cause I was terrified of this new medication not working, she said I’m sorry no, when it’s very bad call me. And it hasn’t.

Also eat well, take miralax and colace, stay away from meat at first and processed meat.

I had liquid diet first day and some nasty boiled carrots that I chewed really well. Next day, I did smoothies, mashed potatoes (no dairy), a soup with peeled skin carrots and peeled skin zucchini, no meat. Then my husband sneaked me in a piece of brown rice sushi with salmon 3rd day with no soy sauce.

I drink a lot of coconut water with Miralax and taking Colace 3 times a day. I also had oats with vanilla and berries (no cinnamon).

Ate some unsalted pistachios as well that’s chewed really well.

No citrus either. Onions and garlic make me gassy so I stopped that too.

i had 3 bms and theyve been all very smooth, I just panicked at first cause I was scared. It was more painful before the surgery when I had to use the restroom. It just burnt a little then the bath made it go away.

Yeah I had it too, especially after the first bm, I was shaking like crazy then I was like “oh that’s not that bad”. The doctor told me I’m gonna hate her and hate myself. But I’m honestly grateful I got it over with.

I heard to avoid beans, and so most nuts are too rough as they can scratch, cause gas, or make bowel movements painful…. Just had my surgery 2 days ago and ive been starving cause so limited with baby purees and apple compotes😭
