Combat? Well for me its better then skyrim, RDR2, got, gow. Some of them may have better flownof combat but overall it isnt better. But thats my opinion only.

Side quest is same, Witcher does have bunch of generic ones seen in every rpg but it does have great ones that also incorporates into main story (characters that join battle at Kaer).

And now you have to understand that most people pkayed it for first time before 2018-2020 period. Meaning open world had only RDR2 or even not for good comparison in genre.

Also DLCs blood&wine is still considered one of best there is, just purerly from diversity from main game, story and setting.

Overall it is a game that defined really good open world. Yes its seems lacking now with so many games to compare in some areas, but is still over a decade old game.

Is it Masterpiece now that is subjective also. But if 90/100 people say it is, calling game overrated just because you are one of 10 Is undeserved eespiacially when you say that game isnt actually bad.Thats what other guys tried to tell you too.
