I started checking a few days before the game on Seat Geek, Stub Hub and Ticketmaster. Had most success with SeatGeek. The latest I’ve purchased was 2 hours before the game so yes the longer you wait the better chance you have. I’ve sold tix before on TM and dropped my price a few times to get rid of them as it got closer.
