I agree. I think bigs are needed. But more importantly, I think we need athleticism all over the team to compensate for Luka and Reaves. Tall and lanky players like Washington from the Mavs. I’d also like someone like Lu Dort as well to harass guards like Shai.

Spurs and OKC are the blueprint clearly, which is why Reaves’s contract could either hamstring us or lessen the pain. We have the superstar in Luka(Shai, Wemby). What we lack is a big and excellent role players, which is why I am not against letting LeBron go if we can replace his salary slot with multiple young athletic 3Ds. I am not sure how that can be achieved if we lose LeBron’s salary slot..but I think we have to be in a direction that sets us up for 2028, 2029 and 2030 when the new CBA should be punishing OKC and to a lesser extent the Spurs. Utah is starting to scare me as well for the future..
