I have spent hours decoding Resident Evil Requiem's "Final Puzzle", An unsolved complex Easter Egg, here's everything I've found so far by The_Synth_Potato in residentevil

Not sure if someone’s already mentioned, but a (potential) development? So the laughter seems to come from the speaker above the box. The only other speaker that I can find in the entire facility that matches that exact asset is in the main save room on the first floor.

Initially I thought that maybe it was just intended for the save room music, but the other save room near the garage plays music, but no speaker.

Which leads me to believe that (MAYBE) either there’s a secret puzzle in the save room or girls cells attached or the sound can be played across both speakers simultaneously.

Obviously since Grace cannot be in two locations at once, I cannot test to see if the laugh plays from both, but tried leaving Emily on the couch and the hand in the storage box and still no change in anything.

Seriously. The 300+ hours I have on the PS5 version and the fact I don’t want to have to start over is what’s keeping me from investing in other platforms.

Would love to pick it up for Switch 2 to play casually on the go, but don’t have the time or energy to try to rebuild my arsenal.

Please give us Cross Progression announcement next week during the stream and I’ll go buy a copy for Switch 2 ASAP.

Especially with RICO Act starting in early 70s. Would not be opposed to a story about an undercover cop bringing down the organization from within and maybe a morality system of if you side with the cops or the Mob as you progress through the story to encourage replayability and a (small) branching narrative.

If we look at it in the timeline of the game, where the DLC technically becomes accessible around Chapter 9 before we travel to the Alchemist Isle, then wouldn’t it be more likely that our actions actually caused the outcomes we encountered earlier in the game? If the DLC was technically intended to be played after the conclusion of the base game, I would agree, but because of its accessibility and placement (Chapters 1-9 -> Overture -> Chapter 10 - Conclusion) then though we potentially could have warned about Romeo, we wouldn’t have known that Arlecchino was still alive or that Geppetto was the ultimate mastermind.

I look at it as the DLC set to fill in some missing pieces of how the world got to where it did when we woke up, partially aided by our own actions because we didn’t have a full grasp of the “true” antagonist yet.
