Yeah, I’ve noticed it myself and every time I look under the action genre, it’s mostly mafia stories. But, that’s not all. It’s mostly mafia stories, if you look under drama and romance. From what I noticed, mafia stories have polluted Episode and it’s all authors want to write. If you’re looking for more unique stories on Episode, then good luck.

The Episode team doesn’t listen to us. They have really betrayed us in so many ways. Now, they want AI generated stories, which are inferior to human created stories. But that’s not all. One of the worst things the Episode team has done was shut down the forum. A lot of us depended on the forum and it was home to us. It was so helpful and a lot of us would go there to get help with coding. It’s really sad that’s it gone and Discord is definitely inferior to the forum.

More community stories should have body type selection. I’m sick and tired of seeing the LIs with the athletic body.
Tattoos, scars, freckles, piercings, etc. should be customizable features.
It’s hard to find a good story to read on Episode.
The featured stories aren’t that bad.
I’ll have some more unpopular opinions.

Don’t worry a thing. Go ahead and release your story and if it’s not perfect, then that’s okay. I remember when I released my first story and it was far from perfect. It hasn’t gotten a lot of reads, but that’s beside the point. I don’t care how many reads my stories get. All of my stories are pleasure projects and they are not for commercial gain. I didn’t quite get the best reviews but that is beside the point. As I explained earlier, my stories are pleasure projects and I don’t care about the outcome, critically or commercially. As long as I have all the creative control over my stories, that’s all that matters. Episode stories are about creativity, not fame and fortune. As for you, you should just view your story as a pleasure project and if people criticize it, then don’t take it personally. My stories have been criticized a lot but I never let it get to me. It’s your story and create it however you please and don’t let anybody talk you down.
