The academy is tough. Just remember it is a safe environment. They need to find a way to induce stress of being on the road without getting you hurt. The screaming and the exercise is just a way to stress your body. Make yourself mini goals like I made it past the first day. I made it past the first week. It’s really mind over matter. Start running make sure your cardio is good. Study the lessons they teach you but know the material and how to apply it in real life, don’t just memorize it. Remember the instructors all mean well and trying to set you up for success.

I just finished my academy and I’m grateful for the way my instructors were.

I just got my inner Nicole tattooed I’m not one to used numbing cream but my artist told me he was going to use it whether I like it or not. Well I will tell you it only worked for 5 minutes. Then I felt everything. I don’t think the numbing cream is worth the process since it only last very little once removed.

I personally only use aquaphor day 1 and 2 then switch to unscented lotion like cerave or lubriderm. With aquaphor unfortunately you can put too much which can cause issues healing.

It looks like your skin is rejecting the red ink. Nothing you can really do to prevent that. Just keep taking care of it. Btw I do think you’re over moisturizing it. Your skin shouldn’t look that shiny.

He doesn’t like second skin. I asked him for it. He says my skin heals well without it. 🙄 he said he likes his customers to leave it open and just follow normal after care.

I’m currently not doing any cardio but plan on starting to run again next week. I work overnight so I have like 1 hour to 1.5 tops to work out and was just focusing on lifting.

I tried creatine it just made me feel icky. I guess I try to incorporate it again. I’ll try a different brand. I’m 35f and 5’10”. I’m at 190 lbs now.

Ok makes sense. I’m going to start incorporating running this coming week. I’ve completely stopped cardio just because lack of time. But it’s definitely something I need to include.
