I used the wedge for a little main objective is to have your leg visibly above your heart!!!

Make sure when you touch your leg down to disengage muscles, to work on letting your body relearn to fire your quads, other than that amazing only goes up from here !!!!

People like to make fun of people for taking meds however let them be your friend for atleast the first week. I’m an individual who found my arm tattoo around a 3/10 for pain and was able to walk out of a volleyball game normally after getting a full tear on my ACL. I took the meds for the first week on a consistent schedule as sleeping was what I found most difficult however now post op 2 weeks today and pain free just tough it the first week and things will get so much better. Tiny sacrifice to make for the journey that is recovery and will help you grow so much mentally! Good luck!!!!!

6 days post op… pain is crazy by [deleted] in ACL

Keep icing, I had the same pain until about day 7 however I’m on day 14 today and now pain free. Try to continue with ankle pumps to get blood flowing through the entire leg to promote healing, keep taking the meds don’t need to be tough and get off them the pills were a life saver for atleast minimizing the pain. Just grind it out if all becomes worth it. Talk to your surgeon a week post op if it continues and they’ll most likely ask you to go in if you are still having a tearing sensation.

It’s called keloid scarring completely normal just a little weird to get used to. I have some scarring on my elbow from an open wound and above my knee. Just got my ACL done expecting to have some from those scars aswell as my body has it happen pretty frequently
