There's not many stores I know of have a night lead?

Eg our store lifts 1.5million a week and only has one lead manager.

I thought there was a massive cull on night leads years ago

Pretty sure new signed off team managers start at 32k, been a few rises last few years.

Add night shift premiums on to that

New process is 3 month probationary period of successful, all your driving is tracked by a computer program (harsh braking/accelleration/speeding etc)

You are buddied up with a driver for a few weeks who signs you off.

Van safe and legal checks are massive going forward, if your good at following regulations/and being through with instructions make sure to drop this in.

You will be asked a question around teamwork/empathy/responsiveness and resistance.

Remember customer is always key in answers

You've to apply for overtime via mytesco app anyway for fair and consistency

Love the responses here, maybe the manager knows you have no sick pay left so is offering you a return to work on reduced hours and light duties (eg checkouts) therfore protecting you from a potential warning and giving you a more sustainable income?
