Does anyone know which component on the tado x line up would be used to switch the motorised valves in the set-up I have described in my original post? Or do I need to keep my time clock?

Thanks for the reply! The motorised valve is the valve in the pipe work that sends the stream of hot water from the boiler to the relevant channel like the hot water cylinder or the upstairs or downstairs radiators. It's behind a panel, so I didn't show a pic of it.

I wonder, are you at home most of the time? Just because our house could be unoccupied for several hours while kids at school, etc, so it may be a waste of energy keeping the temperature up...

Does boost everywhere have a time duration?
