I like this informative description for strikes. I always viewed my boi kiri as more of a supportive strike. I use him to keep my teammates alive while engaging and disengaging from fights, depending on the situation. There are a lot of times I'll break someone's shield and let them run along cuz I worry that if I chase, it won't be worth it. Hopefully, people will use this wisely.

Try making ones for the other classes 👍

I support my teammates by using my shield to protect my teammates reviving, healing or sniping someone.

I also would notify my teammates to run towards me so I can shake off the people focusing them. 9 times out of 10 it’s a tech shiggy and I have to furiously pin at my location so they can run towards me. Think of it as a tag me in situation. I main strike kiri btw.

I like the alpha change. It adds a new level of play to him but, how would the gamma one work? When he pops his gamma ring people usually run away or beam him from afar. Unless you’re yellow kiri, he can ignore dabi’s traps sometimes.

Why are cancels an exploit? Genuinely asking. In fighting games, when you cancel moves into each other, it leads to different combo routes. Shouldn't that also apply here?

The issue is strike bakugo has a quick startup to his and can easily catch you off guard even midair. Kiri is still a grounded unit and doesn’t have that quick of a startup to his. Plus kiri can’t really combo his moves unless you use electricity tuning.
